Early on, they may seek professional help from a counsellor. Counselling can help them process their feelings and come to terms with their new reality. Everyone moves forward in their own way; there is no ‘one-size- fits-all’ solution. If someone is re-imagining their future, transformative coaching can bring clarity and renewed purpose.
If people then want to use their experience to make a difference for the benefit of others, they may need to build new knowledge, skills and confidence. Our Peer Leadership Academy has a key role to play. m-powered’s Peer Leadership Network helps sustain personal growth and fosters a strong sense of connection, building on relationships developed through our personal development programmes. People continue to share, learn and access peer support.
